Beema pakistan order to stop selling Health Insurance

Florida’s insurance commissioner has ordered a dozen entities, including one from Pakistan, to stop selling unauthorized health insurance policies in the state.The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation began investigating the companies after it received complaints that the companies were sending out fax blasts advertising cheap health insurance coverage. Some of those who signed up said the policies were not for major medical insurance, as had been advertised, but for unauthorized limited-benefit plans.As many as 2,500 customers purchased the insurance.The companies are identified as:
Beema-Pakistan Co. Ltd.., PakistanServe America Assurance Ltd., Blythewood, S.C.Real Benefits Association, New York CityAffinity Group Benefits Association, American Trade Association, Smart Data Solutions LLC and SDS Management Group, Springfield, Tenn.Also named were William Worthy II, president of Serve America Assurance; David Clark, chairman and president of Real Benefits Association; and Bart Posey, Richard Bachman, and Obed Kirkpatrick, who are affiliated with the American Trade Association, Smart Data and SDS Management Group.The companies and individuals have 21 days to challenge the action
